Millennium Fellowship Project: PROJECT TEHRAAV

- Led ‘Project Tehraav’, which advocates for mental health across the community at Hansraj College, Delhi University.
- My project is based around the 3rd Sustainable Development Goal which is Good Health and Wellbeing.
- Connected students to certified counsellors at cost effective prices.
- Conducted art exhibit on "Mental health and awareness" which depicted art pieces of mental well being. Moreover, by visiting the art exhibit, students could connect with the college counsellor. This would eliminate their hesitancy to reach out for help during their times of distress. This event had a turnout of 160 students.
- Started a column in our college magazine which accepted submissions like poetry and stories on mental well being.

About the Millennium Fellow

Vaani Garg is an economics honours student at Hansraj College, Delhi University, India. Vaani is passionate about exploring the ways through which individuals can advocate around mental health and well being and she also aims to destigmatize the notions around it . Through her ongoing project, Vaani aspires to propel the her campus community towards a safe place for mental well being.
Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she aims to contribute meaningfully to the betterment of societies on a global scale.
