Millennium Fellowship Project: Ti Zaa Bonyeni

Ti Zaa Bonyeni Project seeks to empower women to know their rightful place in the society. Then since they spend more time with their children at the house, their capacity on sustainable life will be built to further teach their children right from their infancy to make it a habit.

About the Millennium Fellow

Dabuo Jacob N., also known as Jakes is a sophomore at the University for Development Studies, Tamale Campus in the Northern Region of Ghana pursuing Medicine.
He is a Healthy Lifestyle and SDGs enthusiast particularly in women empowerment for community participation.
Jakes plans to pursue Epidemiology as well as scientific writing and medical journalism after school.
His passion about the SDGs stems from goal 5 (Gender Equality), and encompasses targets from goal 4 (Quality Education) as well as goal 15 (Life on land). Jakes believes that, once the rights and responsibilities of women are protected and enforced, they teach the children to have better knowledge about their environment to promote sustainable environmental practices to help mitigate pollution, bush fires and deforestation.
He wants to start this impact journey from a small town in Wa East District of the Upper West Region called Kparisaga.
