Millennium Fellowship Project: Ti Zaa Bonyeni

Ti Zaa Bonyeni Project seeks to empower women to know their rightful place in the society. Then since they spend more time with their children at the house, their capacity on sustainable life will be built to further teach their children right from their infancy to make it a habit.

About the Millennium Fellow

Manasseh Iddifa Yakubu is pursuing BA Development Education at University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale, Northern Region, Ghana. Manasseh is passionate about community service, social work and volunteerism and had worked in various roles with different Organizations. As someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, he is very comfortable with public speaking, working as a team, using resources efficiently, and is endowed with leadership and problem-solving skills. Through his project, he hopes to reduce global warming, climate change and other global issues. He also hope to provide employment to over 500 people in his community. After successful completing his undergraduate degree, Manasseh plans to earn an international scholarship to pursue masters degree in Social Work in a field regarding sustainable development.
