Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Sanitation: Unheard Accounts

PROJECT SANITATION: UNHEARD ACCOUNTS strives to enhance awareness for more sensitisation and humanisation of sanitation workers. Its primary objective is to bring to the forefront the personal and distinguished accounts of sanitation workers, thereby contributing to the broader discourse concerning the dehumanization they often face.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aditya Srivastava is a dedicated senior Political Science student at University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. With an ardent passion for social change, her focus on gender and caste inequality is unwavering. Through rigorous academic pursuits, she has garnered deep insights into these issues. Through her project, Aditya aims to bring to the forefront the status of sanitation workers in Delhi’s slums and stimulate academic discourse around intersectionality of caste and gender within this context. Aditya strives to be a social activist and changemaker in society as her long-term pursuits.
