Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Zora

Project Zora - Our project aims at starting conversations around gender in ways which help us explore various dimensions of the concept. Apart from addressing the issues of gender-based violence, access to healthcare and nutrition primarily among women, we look forward to unfold gender as an idea which is inclusive of and sensitive to diverse identities, and moves beyond the boundaries of the traditional masculine-feminine binary. That said, we are hoping to organise outreach campaigns, sensitisation drives and field visits to document the experiences of voices hitherto unheard of by the mainstream platforms that deal with the gender question. We understand that gender is a complex construct, and through our efforts, we hope we can make it appear simpler to those who we would reach out to. We plan to bring in not just greater equality, but also gender equity in the society we live in.
