Millennium Fellowship Project: The Sheltering Education Project
The Sheltering Education project is a comprehensive approach to educating and empowering children led by 3 millennium fellows from the university of Ghana cohort,myself inclusive . It aims at
Increasing children's awareness of the importance of quality education and its benefits for their future.
Provide children with the necessary guidance to use their resources well, such as time, money, and energy.
Help children develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and in life.
Empower children to take ownership of their education and to advocate for their own needs.
The project will be implemented through educational workshops and seminars, mentorship programs, and tailored educational programs and materials. It will be evaluated based on the number of children reached, their level of understanding of the importance of quality education and how to use their resources well, their skills and confidence in school and in life, and their sense of empowerment and self-advocacy.
The project is sustainable through partnerships with schools and other organizations, training of teachers and other staff, development of educational materials, and advocacy for policies and programs that support children's quality education and empowerment.
In summary, The Sheltering Education project is a comprehensive and sustainable approach to educating and empowering children.
