Millennium Fellowship Project: We Are The Change
Introduce Your Project to the World:
This project aims to educate adolescent on sexually transmitted infections, promoting girl child education, fighting violence against women and reducing maternal mortality through education. We are interested in building a community void of violence against women, reducing the spread of STDs in my community and helping adolescent with their sexual related issues and promoting girl child education and reducing early child marriages.
About the Millennium Fellow
Amanda Fafali Aku Apedo is a third-year medical student at the University of Health and Allied Sciences. She is a tenacious young lady passionate to make an impact in the lives of many youth. She aims to use her academic background, problem-solving leadership and community service to champion the cause of Adolescent Reproductive Health in marginalized communities in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
