Millennium Fellowship Project: We Are The Change
This project aims to educate adolescent on sexually transmitted infections, promoting girl child education, fighting violence against women and reducing maternal mortality through education. We are interested in building a community void of violence against women, reducing the spread of STDs in my community and helping adolescent with their sexual related issues and promoting girl child education and reducing early child marriages.
About the Millennium Fellow
Darlington Acquah is a level 300 student offering Bsc. Biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Health and Allied Sciences. She grew up in a humble and loving home in Accra, Ghana. Her aspiration has been to change the world the way she can through science and technology. This has been her driving force to be the best version of herself. She loves to read, bake and sing.
Her goal is to make her country a better one by providing cheaper but effective cures to diseases that affect her communities. Her motto is "Hard work and perseverance will surely get you where you want to be."
