Millennium Fellowship Project: We Are The Change
This project aims to educate adolescent on sexually transmitted infections, promoting girl child education, fighting violence against women and reducing maternal mortality through education. We are interested in building a community void of violence against women, reducing the spread of STDs in my community and helping adolescent with their sexual related issues and promoting girl child education and reducing early child marriages.
About the Millennium Fellow
Karen Akuffo is currently a 3rd year medical student. Karen is passionate young lady determined to use her medical knowledge to impact her world positively. After she graduates, Karen hopes to establish a children’s hospital and work with other stake holders on ensuring quality health care for all and making it as accessible as possible.
