Millennium Fellowship Project: The Queen Initiative

The queen initiative is a proiect l've been
passionate about for a long time. It involves
the education of adolescent female girls on
;the female anatomy; puberty; menstruation
and menstrual hygiene; and self-breast lump
checks for breast cancer. To carry out this
project, I will be meeting with the secondary
school girls of public schools in my
community, I will educate these girls along
with some volunteers. I will also
be distributing period care packages to these
girls and training them on how to use menstrual hygiene products. The goal of The Queen Initiative is to improve the self confidence of young girls by empowering them with a sound education of their menstrual health and hygiene, and to remove the stigma surrounding menstruation and the female anatomy as a whole.
