Millennium Fellowship Project: Save Young Lives (PSYL)

Project Save Young Lives (PSYL) aims to enhance mental health literacy among young people, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, deliberate self-harm, and suicide. Initiated by Chukwuemeka David Orji and Onyeka Chukwuma from the University of Benin, the project collaborates with partners like Living Everyday Above Depression (LEAD) and The Medvocacy Initiative for Africa (TMI-AFRICA).

About the Millennium Fellow

David Orji is a final-year Doctor of Pharmacy student with a fervent drive to enhance Nigeria's healthcare system. His commitment to mental health advocacy, youth mentoring, and leadership is complemented by his flair for entrepreneurship, graphic design, and inspirational writing. His journey has seen collaborations with prestigious entities such as United Nations Academic Impact, Millennium Campus Network, and Living Everyday Above Depression Foundation, channeling his efforts into impactful health awareness campaigns and strategic societal betterment. Adept at balancing multiple roles, his altruistic spirit, leadership acumen, and literary prowess characterize him wherever he ventures.
