Millennium Fellowship Project: PORTABLE WATER FOR LONDONERS
Portable Water for Londoners' is a project i started sometime ago. It involved me researching on the suppliers of the cleanest and safest water in Benin, which i found out.
I made wholesale purchases, then resell and subsidized rates to the occupants of my hostel.
The vision was to make available portable water, right at their doorsteps, to reduce the stress of trekking distances to get clean water.
My orders are always timed to make sure that we don't only have clean water, but have it everyday and time.
During school hours, i leave a number of bags outside my room in my designated area and when I'm home, the person who consumed any of it alerts me.
This project is a succes because I have lodge mates that are cooperative and supportive. No one steals from me, and that's very commendable.
When you serve the people, you serve yourself too.
They have clean water, and i do too.
That way, society gets better and a problem gets solved.
