Millennium Fellowship Project: Good Health and Healthy-Living: Combating alcohol abuse and NSAIDs misuse
The project was designed to focus on alcohol and NSAIDs harm reduction among young people.It was structured to be carried out as a seminar session to a carefully selected secondary school where time would be taken to elucidate the dangers of engaging in the abuse/misuse of the aforementioned substances.
About the Millennium Fellow
Owolabi Ajiboye is a currently a 400 level Pharmacy student at the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, in Nigeria. Owolabi is passionate about leadership and public good health & well-being. In the area Owolabi currently lives at Uselu (Egor Local Government), the incidence of substance abuse amongst secondary school students have skyrocketed. My project is borne out passion of sensitizing these students about the hazards of their actions. After graduation, he looks forward to opportunities that aligns with his SDG 3 goals.
