Millennium Fellowship Project: Plastic Waste to Prosperity: Empowering Communities for a Sustainable Future
The Plastic Waste to Prosperity project is a community-driven endeavour designed to combat plastic pollution through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. By conducting interactive training sessions, the project aims to increase awareness about the detrimental effects of plastic waste on the environment and human health. Through hands-on learning experiences, participants will gain practical skills in sorting and recycling plastic waste, laying the foundation for sustainable waste management practices. The project's innovative aspect lies in implementing cutting-edge recycling technologies to transform plastic waste into valuable products like pavement blocks and household items, creating both economic opportunities and demand for recycled materials.
