Millennium Fellowship Project: The Diabetes Advocacy and Support Community (DASC)

The name of my new project is Diabetes Advocacy and Support Community. It is a project owned by a mellinnium campus fellow of 2023, Mark Odachi and I will be collaborating with him.
Diabetes advocacy and support community is a non governmental organization aimed at creating and managing a supportive community for people with diabetes.
It is also aimed to empower individuals with diabetes to take control of their health and wellbeing, to create a society where diabetes is well understood and effectively managed.
Between August and December 2023, we will be hosting a webinars on the role of healthcare providers and family in diabetes care and a public glucose level checkup.

About the Millennium Fellow

Her name is Aka Evelyn Chioma. She is from Enugu state in Nigeria. She is a 300 level student In University of Nigeria Enugu Campus UNEC. She is studying Human anatomy. She has good academic record with an insatiable desire to help others. As a result, he has created about three social media platforms to help other students in need of help and academic guide.
