Millennium Fellowship Project: OFAC PROJECT
Original Activity of Millennium Campus Fellowship:
OFAC is a brilliant collaboration, an original activity of the Millennium Campus Fellowship executed hand in hand with the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace [SCORP]. This synergy amplifies its impact, emphasizing the collective effort to create positive change and fostering SDG 17
Embodied Passion:
OFAC, a hallmark of SCORP WEEK, breathes life into the "Feed me I Feed you" spirit, becoming a canvas where SCORPions and devoted medical students paint strokes of altruism. This initiative goes beyond mere charity—it's a living commitment to the enduring legacies of goodwill and community service.
Igniting Altruistic Flames:
Rooted in UN SDG 2: Zero Hunger and guided by IFMSA's "Think global, Act local," OFAC unites medical students as agents of positive change in community service. This initiative transforms modest actions into profound responses to local community issues.
Conversations Beyond Transactions:
Practically, OFAC operates as a dynamic "feed me I feed you" initiative, where students converge on charity care homes. Each meal purchase forms a genuine connection, extending beyond transactions to embrace conversations and activities that foster hospitality.
Authentic Impact:
OFAC's success lies in authenticity, transcending charity to become a collective responsibility. It's a symbol of the shared commitment to combat hunger and nurture genuine connections within communities. Medical professionals recognize the pivotal role they play in meaningful community service.
Catalyst for Change:
OFAC emerges not as a standalone event but as a powerful catalyst for change. It resonates with SCORP's dedication to UN SDGs, showcasing a profound commitment to a hunger-free world. Every meal purchased becomes a stepping stone, illustrating the dedication to a future where no child goes hungry—one passion-driven act at a time.
