Millennium Fellowship Project: Beyond The Book

Beyond The Book (BYB) is a soft skill development program for university students. This program is aimed at intentionally helping students build soft skills, that would help them during and after their school years.

This arose out of the need to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and soft skills among students of the university.
We envision achieving this project from August to December and reaching at least 20 undergraduate students.

Beyond The Book has grown to have monthly productivity webinars and has impacted about 500 people virtually with over 800 minutes of value being disbursed by world class trainers and speaker's

About the Millennium Fellow

Collins Arin Itse is a medical laboratory student
at the University of Jos Plateau State, Nigeria. Collins is passionate about how young people can have an impact on the world around them and the place of gender inclusivity and equality in access to high-income value skills for girls and women is important in building a more robust and thriving world.

Collins is specifically swung around the improvement of gender representation in all his works.

Collins is optimistic that being a native of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria he will create a ripple in the necessary information dissemination and drive change through his actions.
