Millennium Fellowship Project: Campus Cancer Awareness

My project is about raising awareness for cancer, and sharing thoughts on prevention.

I have been an active cancer advocate since February 2022, and I also authored a book about basic lifestyle changes that helps individuals prevent cancer.

It is my warm delight to continue this project under the umbrella of the MCN in my school, the University of Jos, Nigeria.

About the Millennium Fellow

Joshua Omale is an outstanding student of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Jos, Nigeria.

Joshua is passionate about helping to create the reality of a cancer-free world through the means of awareness creation, advocacy campaigns, and research.

He leverages his exceptional skills in research, strategic communication, planning, negotiation, and people and resource management, in the course of his advocacy, which has so far translated into community outreaches and free distribution of books and other resources he has authored in the light of this.

Joshua plans to earn a master's degree in Molecular Biology and work in a field that combines research, biotechnology, and empathy, to bring a cure to cancer.
