Millennium Fellowship Project: Eco NG
Project Eco-NG is all about picking up after ourselves and making the environment cleaner. It involves the management of both organic and inorganic waste. It will also involve waste management education on all levels of learning but my main focus will be on the younger generation (primary school) so that a generation with knowledge on proper waste management will grow. The aim is to teach the younger children how to regenerate the earth by having a compost pit and learning how to recycle organic waste. We will also teach children the different ways to recycle plastics and cans for example turning a used plastic bottle as a nursery or bird feeder. We will engage in community clean-ups and community orientations on better ways to keep the environment cleaner .
