Millennium Fellowship Project: Deworm1-Save a life

To raise awareness and educate participants (children and adults) about personal hygiene practices and the prevention of intestinal parasitic infections.
• To administer albendazole to all participants for mass deworming, targeting the reduction of parasitic infections within the community.
• To promote sustainable behavioral changes related to personal hygiene among the participants, ensuring the long-term prevention of parasitic infections.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ruth Amos Hassan is currently in her penultimate year at the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, studying Medical Laboratory Science/Biomedical Science. She possesses intermediate knowledge in health, wellness, and fitness, and she is a relentless optimist who advocates for public speaking, gender equality, and early career research. Ruth has a keen interest in digital health, precision medicine, and biomedical research. She strongly believes that research shapes the future and helps us find answers to life's most daring questions. Ruth is a critical thinker with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, and she is adept at working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines. She has excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and is a great multitasker who thrives in a team environment. Additionally, Ruth is a passionate advocate for good governance and a devout follower of God.
