Millennium Fellowship Project: Global Actors Program
This project is aimed at introducing and training female undergraduates on community engagement, leadership skills, and the SDGs, as most Nigerian schools do not expose students to these topics. We believe that if these females are properly trained and equipped, they can be drivers of sustainable change in their local communities, thereby enhancing the realistic achievement of Agenda 2030.
About the Millennium Fellow
Isokpunwu Orobosa Favour is an electrical and electronics engineering student at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity” is a quote that Orobosa strongly believes in. He is passionate about individuals being exposed to opportunities early enough that they are well prepared when they come, and what better way to prepare an individual than true quality education?
His project on SDG Quality Education aims to expose secondary school students to career paths, particularly in STEM, preparing them for related courses and opportunities to blend in with a technologically advancing world.
