Millennium Fellowship Project: Fortwall Project
There is an increase in the creation of Non-Governmental organisations in Nigeria and across the continent of Africa, and the essence of these foundations is to provide resources that can help alleviate the living conditions of Nigerians and Africa as a whole; however, this is not sustainable because looking at the numbers of foundation across Africa, and yet, the level of poverty is still on the rise; hence, the need to empower people on how to become more innovative and create solutions to the world problems.
Inventive thinking is one of the constructs of 21st-century skills. The future workforce needs 21st-century skills in the new global economy driven by knowledge, technology and innovation. Inventive thinking comprises six elements: flexibility, self-regulation, curiosity, creativity, risk-taking and higher-order thinking.
About the Millennium Fellow
Samuel Olowookere is a Multipotentialite who strongly believes his life is meant to be a model to nations winning the departmental president award for leadership in his sophomore as because of his level of impact across other levels at the department.
He studies Mass Communication, focusing on Marketing Communications at the University of Lagos.
The desire to empower the youth, fostering competence, character, and influence in various domains, made Samuel passionate about SDG Goal 1 - No Hunger by empowering them to empower others, reflecting a deep passion for others' well-being and aiming to enhance the lives of those around him.
