Millennium Fellowship Project: Tackling hypertension in my community
Tackling hypertension in my community' is a special health project that seeks to help reduce the prevalence of hypertension and prevent its deleterious health consequences in my community and its environ by organizing health campaigns and awareness creation, free blood pressure and blood glucose checks and distribution of drugs.
We will be organizing 5 health campaigns and 1 outreach which will reach 100 people altogether. We will also be raising $1000 to purchase 3 sphygmometers, anti-hypertensive drugs, also to pay for rentage and other expenses.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tobiloba Adebayo is a young changemaker, a software developer, and a medical student at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. Tobiloba has a keen interest in self-development, leadership, research, technology, and health advocacy. As a medical student with experience in building software solutions, he is making efforts to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare by developing solutions to impact healthcare and advance sustainable development goals.
