Millennium Fellowship Project: Girl Up Initiative
The Girl Up Initiative is a team project by Millennium fellowship;Mamman Oyinnoiza and Odediran Jesutofunmi which focuses on Female Health&Hygiene,Menstrual hygiene and sex education.The project aims at educating 10-16years old girls on female hygiene,menstrual hygiene and sex education in my community and other states eventually.
During the millennium fellowship period,the Girl Up Initiative will organize 6 outreaches to 2 schools in Kwara State community,Abuja State and Lagos state and respectively. At these schools outreaches talks,discussions and private counseling on female hygiene,menstrual hygiene and sex education will be delivered.Also,sanitary pads and hygiene packages will be given to all the girls in attendance.We aim at reaching 1600 girls combined in all the outreaches
About the Millennium Fellow
Odediran Jesutofunmi is a pharmacy student of University of Ilorin,Ilorin Nigeria.She currently holds the post of an assistant class representative and she is a passionate student who has showed leadership abilities and concern about the growth everyone around her.
She is the current financial secretary of the National Fellowship Christan Pharmacy Student(NFCPS),Unilorin Chapter.
