Millennium Fellowship Project: Siding with the Sidelined/Zero Hunger
To side with the sidelined. The children whom society is passively concerned about their well-being, or where their next meal will come from. To reach out to children on the street , in the orphanage homes. To remind them that they are loved , cherished , thought about and cared for.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mercy Ikoh is a 500 Level Student , currently studying Law in the University Of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria. Mercy is passionate about several things which not only pique her interest, but could be classified as threats to peaceful living and coexistence in the society. Mercy's passion for justice ,equity and fairness, as well as eradication of poverty and hunger is fueled by the growing decadence in the community where she grew , and a burning desire to see a change . Change does not come easily, neither does it come to those who wait, that is why Mercy has decided to "take the bull by the horns" . Upon her graduation from the tertiary institution, Mercy will take up the course of equitable dispensation of justice for a sustainable living in our environment.
