Millennium Fellowship Project: ResisAlert
My project name ‘Resisalert’ is coined from the words Resistance and Alert. It's all about spreading awareness, keeping people in my community alert on antibiotic resistance, stopping the misuse of antibiotics, and increasing the antibiotic efficiency rate. Most students, traders in my community abuse antibiotics because of ignorance and giving the proper education on antibiotics will go a long way in combating antibiotic resistance.
About the Millennium Fellow
Chidiebere Nwokedi is a pharmacy student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Agulu Campus. He is passionate about making an impact on the general well-being of people living in his community and globally. As a pharmacy student, and native of Ogidi, Anambra State, one of his major concerns is antibiotics resistance ravaging the good people of Nigeria which is a result of ignorance. He's dedicated to making good public enlightenment on the said topic to improve pharmacy practice and also the well-being of people living in the country and globally.
