Millennium Fellowship Project: Menar-care
Basically this menar-care project is based on the term menarche which describes the onset of menstrual cycle of a young lady , usually from her first menstrual period , occuring in young girls between ages 11 to 15years ,many of which are ignorant or have little knowledge on menstrual care at that tender age ,the euphoria, confusion and wrong approaches towards managing the whole physiological change process that comes with it and every aspect ranging from the health,social and cultural requirements of this new development in these young ones.
About the Millennium Fellow
Okoye Jennifer Chidera is currently a final year student at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Agulu campus,she is a native of Abagana in Njikoka LGA Anambra state.she is a public health focus researcher and an educator passionate about sustainable development goals 3 and 4 which are good health and wellbeing and quality education respectively.
