Millennium Fellowship Project: A Girl Needs Pad
The project A Girl Needs Pad was done and aimed at educating teenage secondary school girls on proper hygiene during their monthly cycle. Also educating them on the importance of using sanitary aids like pads, and ways to economically purchase or get these aids and use them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ndu-Oko Nain is a pharmacy student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Agulu Campus. She is passionate about making an impact both in her community and beyond. And as a pharmacy student, and native of Afikpo in Ebonyi State in Nigeria, one of her major area of concern and concentration is educating young girls on the importance of hygiene during their menstrual cycle and how to maintain that hygiene. She's dedicated and determined to making a good public enlightenment on the topic mentioned above and to also improve pharmacy practice and health and hygiene of young girls generally living in the country and beyond.
