Millennium Fellowship Project: Zero maternal and child morbidity and mortality

In my project, Zero maternal and child morbidity and mortality done in St Andrew's Anglican Church, we have a talk on reducing maternal and child morbidity especially on measures to be done against preventable illnesses like diarrhoeal diseases. We told them about the importance of early antenatal care and corrected their misconceptions.
We also offered free blood glucose testing and blood pressure checks

About the Millennium Fellow

Stephanie Anyafu is a medical student in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi Campus, Anambra State, Nigeria. She is passionate about how one can aid and help people especially in the public health sector. As a medical student, she have been made of the problems and challenges in the health sector and through her project, she hopes to make an impact on people's lives.
