Millennium Fellowship Project: EduFreedom Initiative

EduFreedom is a transformative social impact initiative dedicated to advancing quality education for children in line with the SDG 4. Focused on addressing challenges such as out-of-school children crises and child labor, the initiative strives to create a future where every child has access to education, free from barriers. Through innovative programs and community engagement, EduFreedom aims to empower children, fostering a learning environment that nurtures their potential and contributes to breaking the cycle of educational inequality.

About the Millennium Fellow

Timothy Akachukwu Oputa is a law student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He is an innovator and a change-maker that finds fulfilment in leaving indelible impacts in his community.

Very passionate about volunteering and community service, Timothy is a certified Africa Agenda 2063 Goodwill Digital Ambassador. He is an advocate of SDGs 4 and 16.

Timothy has held and still occupies various leadership positions in his University. Noteworthy of some of his recent leadership roles include: Presiding Judge of LAWSA High Court, Chief Operating Officer of IP Law Club UNIZIK. Timothy has also represented his University in national and international competitions.
