Millennium Fellowship Project: Unza Climate Smart
The project is about coming up with ways to eradicate climate change by allowing agriculture to thrive through practicing agroforestry,campaigns,advocacy and practical ways such settling up recycling centers in school, communities and holding seminars about climate change in partnership with qualified environmental specialists as well as recycling companies.
About the Millennium Fellow
Linda Chaiwa is an Agricultural Economics major at the University of Zambia, Great East Road campus in Lusaka, Zambia. She is passionate about combating poverty through sustainable agriculture in the face of climate change. She hopes to make great contributions towards this agenda through her project and help others in her region appreciate the urgency to take action and champion sustainable agriculture.
