Millennium Fellowship Project: EcoShift Project
EcoShift is a plastic bottle recycling project that aims to fight climate change and promote financial independence by training young people and and women how to make marketable items from plastic bottle such as trash bins, piggy banks, phone charging holders, tooth brush holders, pen holders and many more.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mukuka Kabanshi is a Human Nutrition student at the University of Zambia's School of Agricultural Sciences in Lusaka. She is passionate about climate change and providing safe alternatives for environmental protection. Her goal is to promote sustainability at her university through her project. After graduation, Mukuka plans to start a social entrepreneurship venture focused on environmental protection and provide Nutrition counseling as well.
