Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Project at UNZA Ridgeway Campus
The mental health project was aimed at addressing the high levels of mental stress affecting students at the University of Zambia Ridgeway Campus, this has been seen to be on the rise across tertiary educational institutions in the country with a number of surveys showing that a good percentage of students feel depressed, anxious and/or have felt suicidal at some point of their academic journey and so the project was aimed at offering mental health education and services to the medical students at the campus through mental health talks, group and individual counselling sessions.
