Millennium Fellowship Project: Nutrition awareness for children

The project nutrition awareness for children under SDG 2, is a way of advocating the importance of nutrition to children especially in shanty areas using local available foods. It includes visiting schools, homes and other places educating the parent and child that healthy eating can be done with local products and guidance for meal planning. The project is another way of providing food to children that go to school with nothing to eat because of personal home situations . This reach out I believe can help educate Zambians and Africans the importance of nutrition and help reduce malnutrition cases. The project can help parents value local foods as they also contain healthy nutrients needed for child to growth.
