Millennium Fellowship Project: Mindcare
Mindcare is an initiative born out of the need to work around the disheartening mental state of medical students and young adults . It is dedicated to fostering mental health awareness, with a bias for medical students and teenagers manoeuvring the transition into adulthood. It envisions a healthier, balanced and hence more productive society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Grace Akumu McYoto is a medical student at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She devotes most of her time to her two passions: medicine and mental health advocacy. Through an informative blog, she hopes to addresses the importance of mental health awareness. As a fervent writer and mental health enthusiast, she's committed to fostering a supportive community and encouraging open conversations about well-being within the medical field and the student fraternity at large. She aims to provide valuable insights for smoothly navigating these crucial phase of life.
