Millennium Fellowship Project: ELIMISHA CHARITY CAMPAIGN

Elimisha Charity Campaign is an project that is aimed at eliminating illiteracy and poverty among African kids through the donation of textbooks and exercise books to marginalised schools especially in rural areas of Kenya. In addition it is an initiative that uses mentorship to empower and expose children in the rural areas as well as slum areas to the opportunities that are available in life.After the mentorships and distribution of books we also engage in tree planting in the schools we visit to encourage the conservation of the environment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Kelvin Kinuthia, a 22-year-old student at the University of Nairobi, is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Alongside his academic pursuits, he takes on the role of a dedicated student leader, holding the position of ELC-UoN president. With a passion for the environment, Kelvin channels his enthusiasm into fostering eco-friendly practices on campus, showcasing his commitment to both his studies and the betterment of his university
