Millennium Fellowship Project: Financial literacy masterclass

With the vision of achieving SDG number 1, ending poverty, i plan on achieving the goal through financial education. I firmly believe that financial literacy is one of the biggest impedement to achieving the goal and by advacing financial literacy to the youth, we will be able to remove the barrier advace towards the goal. This is much more important in the developing world because such resources and information are not easily accessible.

Achievable goals
- engage with partners who share the common goal
- prepare an event program for the engagement forums in the various facilities
- plan and provide a mechanism for recording the results of the project
- engage with the school to plan and market the events across the faculty
- partner with the other campus directors in advancing the project goals in their campuses
- reflect on the results of the project through the data collected in the project

About the Millennium Fellow

Morris Musee is a construction management student at the University of Nairobi. He is passionate and firm believer that education is a catalyst for societal transformation. His interactions with peers and mentors alike are characterized by his unwavering belief in the power of education to drive social and economic change. He is an active participant in various student initiatives that aim to uplift communities through education. Looking ahead, Morris Musee envisions a world where education guided by a concrete vision, intersect to create innovative solutions that uplift societies. With his commitment, he has been making a positive impact in the society, through partnerships that foster sustainable development and bring about lasting change.
