Objectives:
1. Technological Advancements in Insulin Delivery:
Explore and promote the development of innovative technologies for insulin delivery. This includes smart
insulin pens, wearable devices, and other cutting-edge solutions that enhance the precision and ease of
administering insulin.
2. Digital Health Platforms for Monitoring and Management:
Develop user-friendly digital platforms and mobile applications that empower individuals with diabetes
to monitor their blood glucose levels, track medications, and receive personalized health insights. These
platforms aim to enhance self-management and provide real-time data for healthcare professionals.
3. Community Building through InsuTech:

About the Millennium Fellow
Neelima Chandra is an undergraduate student studying at the University of Nairobi. Neelima is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Biotechnology. Neelima has achieved notable success, completing the Presidential Award Scheme achieving bronze, silver and gold level certificates. Her dedication to personal growth and community service shines through this accomplishment, promising a bright future in her academic and career pursuits.
Beyond her academic achievements, Neelima is also a co-founder of the BRAPHO (Biomedical Research and Public Health Outreach) Foundation. This organization exemplifies her commitment to making a positive impact in her community. Through her involvement, she demonstrates leadership skills and a passion for addressing social issues, showcasing her multifaceted abilities and determination to create change.
