Millennium Fellowship Project: HERLink Initiative
The HERLink Program is a transformative initiative designed to empower women in Kenya by providing them with essential information and resources related to nutrition, reproductive and sexual health, legal matters, and a platform to showcase their creativity. This program aims to address the information gap that many women in Kenya face, especially in girls' high schools, by establishing a central hub for knowledge and offering outreach services to institutions, with a focus on collaboration with religious institutions
About the Millennium Fellow
Storm Thiaka is a hardworking, ambitious and dedicated law student and youth advocate from Kenya, studying at the University of Nairobi. Storm has fierce goals to make an impact in social and legal spaces to advocate for human rights for the youth, particularly those of young women and children. By being an active member of his community and organizations such as the Lawyers Against Poverty Initiative, he aims to protect and champion the rights and liberties of those most vulnerable.
