Millennium Fellowship Project: Cultivating Climate Solutions
My project is focused on promoting sustainable solutions to climate change in my local
community. I am have been working with a local environmental nonprofit to develop and
implement programs to engage youth in environmental education and activism. I am
also collaborating with a local community garden to create a climate-friendly garden
that serves as an educational resource for the community. Additionally, I am
researching local policies and advocating for the adoption of more sustainable
practices in my community. I have also been working to organize a monthly farmers market
that promotes local, organic, and climate-friendly food systems. Through these
initiatives, I am hoping to create meaningful and lasting change in my community.
