Millennium Fellowship Project: Nutrition Reach Initiative

This initiative focuses on health equity by working to reduce food apartheid by means of connecting people to healthy and affordable foods, especially healthy whole produce by working with community-based organizations. We will establish a foundation for groceries, supermarkets, farms to give or sell the extra produce at a lower cost to us. We will transfer produce immediately to the community organizations to share with the individuals within the community in need. Food insecurity awareness is also an important factor of the initiative. This initiative will be intentional in spreading awareness by the media, promoting volunteer opportunities, helping to register food drives, and working to develop a youth leadership program to help out these community organizations.
