ZEPLATA PROJECT: is a project which aims to let people be aware of harmful effects of throwing carelessly plastics in water bodies
About the Millennium Fellow
Denys Kwitonda is a biology and biochemistry student at the University of Rwanda, College of Technology and Science in Kigali, Rwanda.
Denys is passionate about how someone can have an impact on global environmental problems through social and political interventions.
As a citizen of Kigali the capital city of Rwanda, He is focusing on boosting his city's policies of clean and well-being by adopting sustainable solutions to environmental protection including marine life.
As a student in an industrial development-related program, He hopes to empower and help his country to implement all measures against the misuse of environmentally unfriendly packages like plastics.
He is going to earn a Bachelor's with Honors in Biochemistry next year.
