Millennium Fellowship Project: AgroChampions
The Agro-Champions 2023-2024 programme would train a new generation of passionate and skilled agricultural entrepreneurs capable of meeting today's challenges in the sector. The young ambassadors would be trained in modern agricultural production techniques, business management and fundraising, enabling them to improve the productivity and profitability of their farms.
In addition, the young ambassadors would be responsible for raising awareness in their communities of the importance of agribusiness and promoting local products, and for encouraging young people to set up their own agricultural businesses, thereby creating jobs and stimulating the economy. Finally, by promoting local products, the young ambassadors would help to reduce dependence on food imports, which is crucial to ensuring their community's food security.
