About the Millennium Fellow
Mellisah Phiri is a student at the University of Zimbabwe and is pioneering a program called Bachelor of science honours in Social Innovation and community development.She hopes to graduate in 2024 . Mellisah Phiri has a creative mind which she hopes to utilize by recycling and reusing materials inorder to make new innovative products.she believes in value addition and upscaling of resources.Her aim is to create a campus reuse center, where materials that are no longer needed by one department or office on campus can be donated and used by students to add value and innovate new projects. Her aim is to reduce waste, save money, reduce the amount of materials sent to landfills.
