United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project NCD
This project aimed at giving free medical services and creating awareness about non communicable disease to the society. We have reached 2 sites to cover more than a hundred people. We have given free blood pressure,diabates, lipid level checkups and created awarness abount non communicable diseases like DIabates,BP, stroke. We have been able to screen different spectrum of the population from boarderline to medically urgent cases. I have collaborated with caring hand project of rotaract Fanos to achive the project on one site.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anteneh Girma is a young, progressive medical student at Tikur Ambessa University in Addis Ababa. In addition to his medical studies, he is passionate about leadership and making a positive impact on society in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Anteneh believes that young people have immense potential to drive transformative change in their communities.
