" Awareness is the greatest agent for change." - Eckhart Tolle
I believe for there to be change, we must first be aware of the need for change, and I believe that by joining the Millennium Fellowship I can try to get close to creating an opportunity for that change, by myself I am weak, but with the help of my community I am Invincible, and I believe that I can learn a lot from the experiences that will be shared here and will become guidance for me. About the Millennium Fellow

Mohammed Kedir Mohammed, a young, active advocate of change, I was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, I am currently living in Ethiopia, I am an undergraduate student at Addis Ababa University, Majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology.
Living in the vibrant city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, I witnessed firsthand the disparities and challenges faced by many in my community. This experience ignited a passion within me to contribute to a more equitable and sustainable world, As a civil university student, I've delved into the complexities of urban planning and development, understanding the intricate relationship between infrastructure, societal well-being, and environmental impact. However, I realized that classroom knowledge alone wasn't enough. I wanted to make a tangible difference, My journey towards sustainable development began with volunteering at a non-governmental organization dedicated to mindset education. Here, I had the privilege of teaching children from underprivileged backgrounds. By fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and resilience, I aimed to equip them with the tools they needed to overcome challenges and shape their own futures, To expand my understanding of sustainable development on a broader scale, I interned with organizations working in rural areas of Ethiopia. These experiences provided invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities, Through my experiences as a student, volunteer, and intern, I have developed a deep-rooted commitment to sustainable development. I believe that education, empowerment, and community engagement are essential for building a more just and equitable world. As I continue my journey, I am driven to use my knowledge and skills to contribute to positive change and create a sustainable future for all.
