Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Youth for Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution (EYPC)
As young advocates for peace, we believe that peace is the foundation of everything in the world. When peace is established in a country, justice can be achieved more easily, and strong institutions can function effectively. We recognize that young people are key to building a more just and inclusive society.
EYPC will empower youth through:
- Engaging panel discussions and workshops with youth experts.
- Collaborating on youth-led initiatives that address local challenges.
- Advocating for policies that promote peace and inclusion.
Our goal is to reach 200 individuals, fostering a sense of community ownership and responsibility among young people. By utilizing social media, we aim to connect and engage youth, building a network of change-makers. We are a team of six fellows dedicated to equipping young people with 21st-century skills and insights into global issues, empowering them to become agents of change. Through our efforts, we seek to create a ripple effect that inspires action and drives positive change for peace and harmony.
