Millennium Fellowship Project: Iya at'omo- Mother and Child
Iya'at omo is a project coined from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, which means "mother and child." It primarily targets women and mothers. This study primarily targeted a subgroup of the population in Ido Ekiti, Nigeria. This initiative was completed by organizing health seminars for women and sharing brochures to effectively spread knowledge.
About the Millennium Fellow
Chiamaka Mba is a 22 year old 5th year medical student at Afe Babalola University who is diligent and hardworking. She was born in Nigeria and resides in Abuja. Chiamaka has always been passionate about women and children health that's why she registered to be a fellow to impact positively in your community. She aspires to be an anesthesiologist who would be relevant in all areas of medical practice
