Millennium Fellowship Project: Iya at'omo- Mother and Child
Iya'at omo is a project coined from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, which means "mother and child." It primarily targets women and mothers. This study primarily targeted a subgroup of the population in Ido Ekiti, Nigeria. This initiative was completed by organizing health seminars for women and sharing brochures to effectively spread knowledge.
About the Millennium Fellow
Temiloluwa Peace Maxwell is a medical student at Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti. She was born in Ibadan, oyo state Nigeria, resides in the same place and is currently studying in Ekiti state. With a deep commitment to environmental sustainability, social equity, and economic development, she strives to create impactful change through innovative projects and community engagement while passionately dedicated to the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her initiatives focus on promoting clean energy, improving education, and fostering inclusive growth. Temiloluwa's drive to address global challenges is evident in her collaborative efforts with organizations and stakeholders to implement practical solutions that align with the SDGs. Her vision is to build a more sustainable and equitable world for future generations.
