Millennium Fellowship Project: Preventing Cervical Cancer In Women Of Reproductive Age
The project aims at educating women of reproductive age group o the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer and on the importance of HPV vaccination.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tomilola Aponbiede is a bright young 5th year medical student of Afe Babalola University, Ekiti, Nigeria. She was born and raised in Lagos,Nigeria where she was exposed to the various challenges women of reproductive ages face in her country. Tomilola has always been passionate about women's reproductive health especially on issues pertaining to preventable diseases. She aspires to be a doctor in order to tackle the many health and reproductive challenges women in Nigeria face everyday and hopes to be able to make a meaningful change in the society.
